These are each NBA team’s new jerseys and kits for the 2022-23 season.

We are less than a week away from the start of the NBA season, and many teams will sport new looks as the league reimplemented City Edition jerseys this year.

The NBA is the league that connects the most to fashion and the culture of its audience. These jerseys will not only serve as novelty items for each of the teams throughout the season, but will be hot-market items for fans of each of the league’s 30 teams.

Some teams opted for classic looks while others came up with brand new designs. Here are the new looks for the new season.

brooklyn nets

Brooklyn we go hard. It’s basic, but classic for the Nets this year. Hard black and white, with all caps, will be the new look for KD, Kyrie and the Nets this year.

Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets are going purple for the 2022/23 season. The Charlotte Hornets are strongly linked to color, just think back to the days of Mougsy Bogues. Notice the bee hive look on the side of the jerseys.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavs will once again sport the “C” on their chest with their black and gold jerseys. The white and burgundy “CAVS” jersey is reminiscent of Cleveland teams from the 90s, but unfortunately for fans, these jerseys remind many of Jordan’s shot at Craig Ehlo.

Denver nuggets

The Nuggets paid tribute to the Mile High City with their new jerseys. Denver is all over the Jerseys. From the Skyline waistband, to the mountains on the shorts, to the yellow Jordan logo on the shoulder.

Detroit Pistons

The Pistons used outside inspirations with their new black jerseys with blue and red stripes. The men of Motor City will rock the DET to their chest after a voicemail from a fan influenced the design.

Golden State Warriors

The reigning NBA champions step back in time as they take a trip down memory lane. Run TMC used to play in those old school jerseys when Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin dazzled the Bay crowd in the 90s.

Houston Rockets

Houston is paying homage to its roots this year with a look back at its days in San Diego. It looks a bit like the Seattle Super Sonics jerseys of the ’90s, but it’s a fresh take on the new generation of Rockets fans, many of whom probably didn’t even know the franchise was based in Cali until they made their way to Texas. .

LA Clippers

The Clippers jersey is designed for the other side of Los Angeles. The Lakers represent glitz and glamour, and the Clippers represent the tough, tough side of town. The letters look like a tattoo, and the red white and blue trim adds a nice touch to the all-black jerseys.

LA Lakers

The Lakers Statement Edition jerseys are a fresh take on a classic look. All purple with black sides. Prominent colors sway. LA will always be purple and gold as long as the Lakers are around.

Portland Trail Blazers

Portland let super star goaltender Damian Lillard create their uniform, and the All-Star centered the theme around teamwork. Lillard has done it all for the Trail Blazers over the past decade, and his most recent contribution will debut this year. The “pin wheel” logo is featured front and center for the first time in the Dame Dollar’s City Edition kit.

miami heat

Miami is relaunching it on its 35th anniversary. These jerseys will remind you of the days of Alonzo Mourning when the Heat and Knicks battled it out in the playoffs. Shirts from the inaugural 1988 season have made a comeback in 2022/23.

Minnesota Twoves

Clean look for Wolves this season who are going to be contenders this year. Let’s see if the new threads give them that extra boost to take the team to new heights.

Milwaukee dollars

The Bucks take their “fear the deer” slogan to new heights. Their Statement Edition jerseys feature the Bucks woods on each of the rib cages. This isn’t the first time the Bucks have had the antlers on their jerseys. In 2020/21 they had woods at the same location.

Phoenix Suns

The Suns released the twilight look for the new season. Black jerseys with sunset trims will have a phoenix style in the desert. Phoenix dominated the regular season. Will these jerseys be the Suns’ lucky charm in the playoffs?

San Antonio Spurs

The most visible feature of Spurs jerseys is the SATX lettering on the chest. The Spurs have always been a conservative franchise that didn’t dabble too much in their classic black and white jerseys, but San Antonio changed that this year. The draped designs on the new kits are a nod to the Mexican culture that has influenced Spurs history.

Utah Jazz

It will be strange to see the Jazz play in their old school jerseys without John Stockton performing the pick and role with Karl Malone. The look actually dates back to the franchise’s days in New Orleans, but purple was introduced when the team moved to the Midwest.

Washington Wizards

We all know the story of George Washington chopping down his father’s cherry tree. The pink jerseys aren’t exactly a tribute to the first president of the United States, but rather the cherry blossoms that cover the nation’s capital.
