Los Angeles Lakers vs. Detroit Pistons – NBA (11/21/21) | How to watch, start time

Despite a solid effort, the Detroit Pistons once again find themselves on the losing side. They are looking to secure their fifth victory of the season against a Los Angeles Lakers team that has just reclaimed its superstar.

The Pistons really stood their ground when they faced the NBA’s top team, the Golden State Warriors, on Friday night. After trailing just five at halftime, Golden State had a big third quarter to give them some breathing space. However, Detroit roared back, edging the Warriors 32-19 in the final 12 minutes. Still, they failed, falling 105-102.

With the loss at home, the Pistons are down to a 2-6 record in Detroit in the first month of the season.

Frank Jackson came off the bench for the Pistons to score a high of 27 points, leading the Pistons in loss. Jerami Grant and Cade Cunningham each scored 19 points, with Grant still leading the offense this season, averaging 18.1 points per game.

Detroit is preparing to welcome the Lakers who have just welcomed their star player, Lebron James, back to the lineup. James had been sidelined for 2.5 weeks with injury, joining the team in their 130-108 loss to Boston to the Celtics on Friday. James scored 23 points in his first comeback, but that couldn’t stop LA from falling below 0.500 with their third straight loss.
