LeBron James breaks NBA record for most combined regular season and playoff points

Din a hard-fought loss to the Golden State Warriors, in which Los Angeles Lakers overcame a 15-point deficit but failed to seal the victory, james lebron broke it NBA record for most combined regular season and playoff points.

Jacques has passed Kareem Abdul Jabbar as the all-time leading scorer in the regular season and playoffs. Abdul-Jabbar finished his career with a combined 44,149 points (38,387 in the regular season and 5,762 in the playoffs.)

Going into Saturday night’s game against Golden State, James needed 19 points to pass Abdul-Jabbar. king james scored 18 points in the first half and in the second half his first shot was a 3-pointer to get to 44,152 points between the regular season and the playoffs.

LeBron James is still 3rd in all-time regular season scoring

In 2017, James passed away Michael Jordan for first place on the all-time playoff scoring list, but he’s still third in regular-season scoring. LBJ is now within 500 points of overtaking Karl Malone in second place and within 2,000 points of overtaking Abdul-Jabbar as the leading regular season scorer in NBA history.

Currently, James is averaging 29 points per game, the most of any 19-year-old player. At this rate, James should become the NBA all-time leading scorer in the regular season and in the playoffs by the end of next season.
