Lake View High School once again welcomes former student Steven Pinchback as head coach of women’s basketball

SAN ANGELO, Texas – Lake View High School welcomed new 1993 graduate and new girls’ basketball coach Steven Pinchback.

“Just to have the opportunity to come back and give some of those championship experiences back to those kids up north where you come from. I’m from 42nd Street right there so it’s been a real blessing, a little surreal at the same time, but I love every minute, I promise you, ”Pinchback said.

For the past two years Pinchback has coached boys’ basketball at San Marcos High School and before that he spent 14 years in the DFW area where he won several basketball championships with De Soto ISD. Coach Pinchback is thrilled to be back up north and giving back to his hometown.

“No one will love Lake View more than me and it will show in the product we are offering, so I’m really excited. Pinchback said

The bridesmaids training will begin on October 20 and Pinchback says they are going to get started.

“My goal is still the same, her winning district, her winning region, her winning state, if you don’t pursue that then you are really short on changing yourself and the kids, so I keep the goals the same. The fans are getting ready, it’s a new era, I’m back home and there are great things to come, ”added Pinchback.
