Kreuser voted for CoSIDA All-District Academic Team for 2nd straight year

FARGO, ND – Graduate student at North Dakota State University Rocky Kreuser was elected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Men’s Basketball Team, the Colleges of America Sports Information Directors announced Thursday, Feb. 17.


Kreuser (White Bear Lake, Minn.) won the honor for the second consecutive season. He earned a bachelor’s degree with a 3.62 GPA as a major in college studies, with minors in psychology and criminal justice. Kreuser now has a 4.0 graduate GPA, working toward a master’s degree in health, nutrition, and exercise science.


He will go through the nationwide ballot for All-America Academic Honors to be announced in mid-March.


Kreuser played in an NDSU record 152 games during his career – tied for 13th among all active Division I players. He is the fourth player in NDSU history with over 1,500 points in career and 750 career rebounds.


Kreuser is averaging 16.3 points and 8.0 rebounds this season, and he leads the Bison with 51 three-pointers. In Summit League play, Kreuser ranks second in the conference in rebounds and fourth in goals.
