Kevin Durant turned down a suggestion from longtime NBA reporter Jackie MacMullan on Friday.
MacMullan was on “The Bill Simmons Podcast” and said she believed Durant intended to try and win at least three NBA championships with the Brooklyn Nets.

âI think speaking with him his real goal is to win three championships in Brooklyn and make it his place, his team, his legacy,â she said on Friday.
But Durant fired back at the suggestion.

Houston Chronicle sports editor Reid Laymance suggested Durant try to befriend MacMullan. The Nets star responded.
“Congratulations my g. Enjoy it.”
Durant has come after members of the media in recent weeks on Twitter. He accused Jay Williams of ESPN of making up a story about comparing Durant to Giannis Antetokounmpo. He called Williams’ story about Durant’s alleged response a “f-kin lie.”

Durant also had time for Scottie Pippen on Thursday after the Basketball Hall of Famer questioned the Nets star’s teamwork.
