High school basketball record: White Swan boys push back Kittitas for 72-70 win at EWAC Class 1b 2b


WHITE SWAN – Kupkana Leavitt and Roger Valdez combined for 50 points with seven 3-pointers as the White Swan boys held off Kittitas for a 72-70 victory in EWAC West Division basketball on Monday night.

Leavitt led the way with 26 points and three triples and Valdez scored 24 points for the Cougars, who started off 2-0 under new coach Joel Yellow Owl. White Swan plays Cle Elum on Thursday.

Conner Coles and Luke Hayden paced Kittitas with 16 points each. The Coyotes host Riverside Christian on Thursday.
