Fantasy Basketball Picks: DraftKings NBA DFS Goals, November 16 Values

Once again, this is déjà vu. Just like last Tuesday, we find ourselves on the cusp of a three-game NBA slate. It’s a list that’s also defined by the presence of the injury-riddled 76ers, just like seven days ago. Coincidence? Almost certainly. The league schedule is computer generated.

However, as we did last week, let’s break it down position by position.

GUARD POINT

Standard

Tyrese Maxey, Philadelphia 76ers To Utah Jazz, $ 7,200 – Maxey has been an absolute monster in his last four games, averaging 43.6 DKFP and at least 39 minutes of action in each game. With Joel Embiid (health protocols), Matisse Thybulle (health protocols), and Danny Green (hamstrings) still unavailable, you have to assume Maxey’s role won’t change until Tuesday’s reunion with the Jazz. That kind of volume mixed with an actual frame rate of 62.7% will still be a viable DFS option.

Value

Eric Bledsoé, Los Angeles Clippers vs. San Antonio Spurs, $ 5,200 – Speaking of impressive four-game series, Bledsoe is on a radiator of his own, averaging 16.8 points since November 9. It’s a period that has also seen Bledsoe produce at least 30.0 DKFP in his four starts, while also registering a stunning 63.2% live fire rate. This is really the key. We know the veteran can provide secondary count stats, but when does he hit his shot? It’s a real DFS threat. With a workload seemingly locked in at over 30 minutes in neutral script, Bledsoe is a steal at just over $ 5,000.

SHOOTING GUARD

Standard

Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz vs. Philadelphia 76ers, $ 8,600 – Mitchell probably isn’t the best “elite” asset on the slate tonight, but his floor is incredibly high, especially at his lowest price of the young season. As of October 30 – a period of eight starts – Mitchell has produced 46.9 DKFP per game with a massive utilization rate of 35.8%. It’s a time when the All-Star is also averaging DKFP 1.38 per minute played. Again, it does not have the cap of Stephen Curry ($ 10,900) Where Kevin Durant ($ 10,300), but Mitchell is still strong.

Value

Patty Mills, brooklyn nets vs. Golden State Warriors, $ 3,800 – With Joe Harris (ankle) out due to injury for most of Sunday’s game against Oklahoma City, Mills scored 29 points in 31.4 minutes. I would say the minutes are more likely to repeat than the nine-point three-point; However, Mills shoots 48.1% from a distance in 2021-2022, benefiting from the open looks created by his Hall of Fame teammates. Harris has already been kicked out on Tuesday, so lock up Mills.

LITTLE BEFORE

Standard

Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets vs. Golden State Warriors, $ 10,300 – Narratives aside, it’s hard to ignore Durant in a game that should be competitive until the final whistle. Durant is averaging DKFP 1.42 per minute so far this season, mostly thanks to an insane live fire rate of 68.5%. The All-Star is also in possession of a 31.4% utilization rate despite playing alongside the notoriously dominating ball. James Harden ($ 10,600). In a competition where he should have few problems motivating himself, I would look for Durant to dominate.

Value

Devin Vassell, San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Clippers, $ 4,700 – Things are moving in a very positive direction for Vassell, who has registered at least 6 times the value in six of his last seven games. While there are cheaper wing options on San Antonio’s list in Lonnie Walker IV ($ 3,700) and Doug McDermott ($ 3,600), it is Vassell who seems to have the most DFS on the rise, as the second student has an average of 15.4 points and shoots 45.9% against three in November. All three are viable wage-saving options, but Vassell arguably has the topmost floor.

POWER FORWARD

Standard

Tobias Harris, Philadelphia 76ers at Utah Jazz, $ 8,500 – Apparently, Harris doesn’t need time to get back in shape after missing a week due to health protocols. The veteran hasn’t missed a beat since returning to the starting lineup in Philadelphia last Thursday, registering 35.8 minutes per game with a jaw-dropping 34.0% utilization rate. There’s no question that Harris is the # 1 rating option with the aforementioned Embiid unavailable, and it’s a good price to take advantage of that fact.

Value

Nic Batum, Los Angeles Clippers vs. San Antonio Spurs, $ 5,000 – After averaging 16.8 points per game in the first five games in November, Batum has been relatively calm in his last three starts. Still, the veteran striker is playing heavy minutes, and if you suppress an outlier zone score in an unbalanced win over the Timberwolves, Batum is posting a very noticeable 30.3 DKFP average over the month. It is also worth keeping an eye on the condition of Terance Mann ($ 4,700; ankle). If he finds himself on the sidelines, that could mean a few more possessions for Batum and Luke Kennard ($ 4,000).

CENTER

Standard

Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz vs. Philadelphia 76ers, $ 7,700 – Basically you choose between Gobert and André Drummond ($ 8,700) there, and I think reigning Defensive Player of the Year is the easy choice. Drummond’s production has waned since Tobias Harris returned and, well, he’s having an incredibly tough game tonight in Gobert’s form. Conversely, Drummond is not exactly known for his defensive magic. When you combine that with a $ 1,000 cheaper salary, I’ll go for Stifle Tower.

Value

Drew Eubanks, San Antonio Spurs v Los Angeles Clippers, $ 4,400 – Eubanks isn’t asked to play longer than 30 minutes, but the big man has averaged a respectable 1.10 DKFP per minute since entering Spurs’ starting lineup on November 3. It’s a period where Eubanks has scored in double-digit points on four occasions, highlighted by a DKFP 37.25 double-double against Oklahoma City. Most people are probably attracted to LaMarcus Aldridge ($ 4,800) in this level, Eubanks could present a nice pivot.
