Draymond Green, a three-time NBA champion and three-time NBA All-Star with the Golden State Warriors, will join Turner Sports in an exclusive, multi-year deal. The unique arrangement will include Green’s appearances on TNT’s Inside the NBA, among additional content initiatives across the Turner Sports and Bleacher Report portfolio, as an active player.

As his schedule aligns, Green will join the Sports Emmy Award-winning studio team of Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith as an analyst, doing selected appearances – a combination of remote and, occasionally, in-person contributions – throughout the season. Green will also contribute to various other programs, special projects and content initiatives.
“Draymond is an incredibly versatile talent, both on the court and in front of the camera,” said Tara August, Senior Vice President, Talent Services and Special Projects, Turner Sports. “He is a team player in every way, while offering a distinct perspective that is evidenced by his honed basketball IQ, charismatic delivery, and candid, thoughtful opinions that include and extend beyond- beyond sports. We are delighted to welcome him more formally to the Turner Sports family.

I’ve had an amazing experience working with Turner Sports over the past few years and I’m a big believer in how they genuinely entertain and connect with fans at all levels,” said Green. “Today’s announcement helps formalize our relationship and I couldn’t be prouder to officially become part of the TNT family.”
Green will make his Turner Sports debut tonight with an appearance on TNT’s Inside the NBA postgame show following the Warriors’ game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at 10 p.m. ET. He previously contributed to Inside the NBA as a guest analyst, while offering commentary during TNT’s The Arena, an in-depth storytelling franchise created to provide an engaging forum on topics happening both on and off the ground. Green also conducted one-on-one interviews with other NBA stars, like former teammate Kevin Durant, for Bleacher Report.
As an active player with the Golden State Warriors, Green won three NBA championships and was named to three NBA All-Star teams as a member of the franchise. He was the NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and he was honored as a member of the NBA All-Defensive First Team four times during his career.
Before being drafted into the NBA, Green was a star at Michigan State, earning Big Ten Player of the Year honors in 2012. He was also the Big Ten Tournament MVP that same year. His No. 23 has since been retired by Michigan State.
