Who plays

Brooklyn @ Boston

Current records: Brooklyn 13-5; Boston 10-8

What there is to know

The Brooklyn Nets road trip will continue as they travel to TD Garden at 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday to take on the Boston Celtics. Both teams enter the contest strengthened by victories in their previous matches.

Brooklyn can’t say they have nothing to thank for this Thanksgiving week. They earned a 117-112 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. It was another big night for Nets forward Kevin Durant, who had 27 points and nine assists in addition to six boards and three blocks.

As for Boston, they have more to be thankful for following their clash against the Houston Rockets on Monday. The Celtics had enough points to win and then some against Houston, winning their game 108-90. Little Boston forward Jayson Tatum did his thing and had 30 points and six rebounds. The game made it Tatum’s fourth straight game with at least 30 points.

Barring any buzzer beaters, Brooklyn is set to win a tight contest. They’ve failed bettors playing the spread in their last two games, so buyers are wary.

The Nets didn’t have too many problems with the Celtics at home when the two teams previously met in June when they won 123-109. Brooklyn’s victory pushed Boston out of the playoffs, so they have a goal behind their backs.
