The rails-core mailing list has been buzzing with activity as preparations are made for the Rails 1.1 release and Scott Raymond has an excellent rundown of the changes to be found. Scott also has a good intro to the new RJS templates for those looking for more information.
Also, Apple has a tutorial by Mike Clark that’s a great introduction to using the console to access the models, SwitchTower configuration and use, Migrations and testing in addition to the standard Rails 1.0 features. Oh, and the inject method. Gotta love the inject method.
