Mike Clark had put together a great Google Maps display of where all of the Chicago Rails Studio attendees where from and included it in their slides at the Studio. I’d taken a picture of it but Mike has posted a copy of the screen capture to flickr that’s much easier to read.
Also, John Nunemaker (day 1, day 2, day 3) and Michael Trier (day 1, day 2, day 3) have write-ups of the Rails Studio available if you’re wanting more than the breezy coverage that I gave. John also has a detailed description of the syncPEOPLE on Rails bundle for TextMate that was a del.icio.us link here yesterday.
Personal note: take business cards to conferences so that you can more easily exchange email addresses. Intuitively obvious, but I blew that one. I may have some made up lacking any business information, making them “personal cards” with webpage URL, email address and phone number.
