After reading Martin Fowler on how he use’s Rake to manage his website, I started playing around with SwitchTower to get it to deploy PHP applications - specifically, to deploy new versions of Mint when they’re released. Mint is a hassle to manually update and SwitchTower seems to have the functionality that’s needed to do the job. Unfortunately, in the middle of my noodling, I had to run to the store with Kristen and the boys. Looks like a SwitchTower recipe for deploying Mint is going to have to go on a back burner for a bit.
Yesterday, what started as a question on ask metafilter inquiring about modern prefab homes led me to spending hours of reading from the links in the replies. I’d like to find out if there are any prefab homes in the Chicago area and if there are, have a look at them.
Finally, Cocoalicious 1.0b37 adds a delicious url scheme, so you can now add a bookmarklet that will open the current page in Cocoalicious for posting - literally, “send to Cocoalicious” functionality, adds favicon support and adds Automator integration. Additional information on the latest Cocoalicious release available here and documentation for creating your own url types is over here.
